A nationally recognized Southern Texas Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Neurology Staff Nurse.

The Neuro IR Staff Nurse will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality-nursing care in a patient and family centered care environment according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Medical Center.

Reporting to the Interventional Radiology Nurse Manager, the Nurse Staff will assist in the overall management and leadership of the Interventional Radiology Lab unit or groups of patient care units within Nursing Services. The IR Neuro Staff Nurse will be responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with the Medical Center mission, vision, and value. 

The Interventional Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for all aspects of care related to adult inpatients or outpatients undergoing procedures in the Interventional Neurology/Interventional Radiology Lab. The IR Neuro Staff Nurse applies   knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments and interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient. The Neuro Center hospital based clinic. Patient population includes a variety of neurological disorders including general neurology, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, sleep, cerebrovascular conditions, and neuromuscular conditions.
