Touchstone Communities is seeking a skilled Certified Dietary Manager to join our dedicated team in Texas, providing high-quality nutritional care and dining services within our senior living and long-term care facilities. As a key member of our healthcare team, the Certified Dietary Manager will oversee the dietary department, ensuring dietary services are safe, effective, and compliant with all relevant regulations, while also being attuned to the specific nutritional needs and preferences of our residents. This role is vital in promoting optimal health and well-being through personalized dietary planning and management. Develop and implement nutritional care plans and dietary services tailored to the needs of each resident. Manage the dietary department’s staff, scheduling, and operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate dietary services with overall resident care. Conduct regular assessments and audits of dietary practices and menus to ensure compliance with nutritional standards. Train and mentor dietary staff in proper food handling, preparation, and dietary guidelines. Manage budgeting and procurement for the dietary department. Knowledge of nutritional guidelines and dietary care plans Strong management and leadership skills Proficient in dietary software and record-keeping Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) certification preferred
