Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. An opportunity is available for an experienced Elementary Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a fully onsite setting in McAllen, TX. This full-time contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek during the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to support academic, social, and behavioral growth Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Apply positive behavioral strategies and model effective classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Texas Experience working with K-12 students across diverse learning abilities Strong understanding of IDEA regulations and best practices in special education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and professionals Ability to manage a full caseload with consistent onsite presence Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment Location: McAllen, TX Work is fully onsite within an elementary school setting serving K-12 students Benefits and Work Schedule: Full-time contract with a 37.5-hour workweek Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in student development and education Gain valuable experience in a specialized instructional role within a supportive school environment Candidates who are passionate about advancing educational opportunities for students with special needs in an onsite classroom setting are encouraged to apply.
