Gloor Floor: 2 nd Floor-2W Surgical Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - Bed Capacity is 32 Number of Staff - Unit has 40 employees Type of staff: Director, manager, CN's, Staff RN's, LVN's, Nurse Aides, and Unit secretaries. o Day Shift - CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 nurse aides, and US o Night Shift - CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 aides. Patient Ratios - 6-7 patients per nurse; 2-3 nurses depending of census. Type of equipment - PCA pumps, IV pumps EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Med-Surg experience. Minimum of 2 years recent hospital experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Surgical experience; bilingual preferred but not a must; Experience with Meditech List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Admissions, discharges, transfers; Wound care, IV's, Blood administration, collecting of specimens, medication administration Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - Royal Blue; Only scrub jacket in white or royal blue may be used; no outside jackets. Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
